Life Guide Leah
"Just as we can know the ocean because it always tastes of salt, we can recognize enlightenment because it always
tastes of freedom."
Buddha
Leah grew up exploring the mountains around Nelson, British Columbia. As she learned to skillset needed to safety navigate these wild environments, the realization that in Weatern culture we are not taught the skills needed to navigate everyday life became very apparent.
How do we make our way through life changes with grace and confidence? How do we get beyond limiting thoughts which hinder our progress forwards? What is the best choice for me in this situation?
Through her own journey of healing from a sport injury and training with Martha Beck, Leah gained the insights and skills to navigate life in an empowered way.
“It is our willingness to choose freedom over being right, making people and situations wrong that determines how long we struggle, how much we suffer. It's a choice that we make every single time we feel pain.
For years I took the harder path because I didn't know there was any other way. Now that I know I have a choice, I choose to be free.”
